Mr. Smith was born and raised in the west-end of Edmonton. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts, he entered the work force for several years prior to departing for the United Kingdom in pursuit of his law degree.
Mr. Smith joined Weir Bowen LLP as an articling student in 2004 and became an associate in August of 2005. He maintains a mixed practice focusing on medical malpractice, employment law, insurance defence, general litigation, and criminal law.
When he is not practicing law, Mr. Smith enjoys spending time with family and friends, fly-fishing, and playing golf.
