Dan completed his articles of clerkship with a predecessor firm of Weir Bowen LLP (Newson Brumlik) in 1984. He is one of the founding partners of Weir Bowen. He has a general litigation practice, with a focus on matters involving personal injury, wrongful death and disability insurance. He has extensive experience as counsel before the courts of Alberta (at trial and on appeal), and in negotiation, mediation and judicial dispute resolution of civil claims.
