Shelagh was born and raised in Edmonton. Before commencing law school in 2006, she worked with the Edmonton Legal Centre (formerly the Edmonton Centre for Equal Justice) and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.

Shelagh joined Weir Bowen as a student-at-law in June 2009. She is currently involved in all areas of practice but particularly enjoys medical malpractice work.

Shelagh enjoys training for triathlons, skiing, camping and spending time with her family, friends and dogs in her spare time.
